Seniors Month - an initiative of the Northern Territory Government
August is a fantastic month for older people in the Northern Territory. Seniors Month is all about staying active, keeping fit and trying new things. It's a great opportunity to meet people, make friends and celebrate the positive aspects of ageing. With the support of the Northern Territory Government many community groups are hosting a wide range of seniors' activities and events across the Territory. All the activities supported through the Seniors Month Grants Program are highlighted in the Seniors Month calendar.
There are also many other groups and businesses hosting Seniors Month events right around the Territory. If you're a senior Territorian , get involved and make August your month to celebrate!
