- The Senior Territorians Advisory Council is an advisory council to the Minister for Senior Territorians that provides advice on seniors' issues, government programs and policies and identifies future opportunities to progress outcomes for seniors in the Territory
- Seniors Month is held in August to promote greater awareness of the positive aspects of ageing and increase participation by older people in social and recreational activities.
- Other government and community services are available in the Territory for seniors.
