Living with cancer
Throughout your cancer journey you will encounter many new and challenging situations that you haven't experienced before. Everyone reacts differently to the diagnosis of cancer and you may experience feelings of shock and/or fear of what the future holds. Your family and friends will also be impacted and may struggle with their personal feelings while finding the best way to support you. It is a stressful time for all and therefore important to reach out for help and information from caring professionals who can guide you through this difficult journey.
Cancer Support Resources
The Cancer Council Northern Territory can provide a summary of current support groups in your area as well as current resources available to inform you and your family. The Department of Health's, Directory of Services provides an overview of support offered in the Territory and the Cancer Survivor Resources page offers links to websites that host the latest information.
