Postnatal Home Visits

Postnatal home visits are physical checks of mother and baby after early discharge from the hospital. These visits provide support, education and information on issues ranging from breastfeeding to family relationships.

Postnatal visits are usually arranged for prior to leaving the hospital, however, should you require further information, contact your local community health/care centre.
