Studies Assistance

Grants

The Department of Health and Families (DHF) provides assistance to individuals in order for them to develop skills and obtain qualifications in the Northern Territory (NT) Health and Community Services Industry. Financial assistance for individuals studying in an area where there is an identified skills gap and/or workforce shortage are given priority for assistance. Funding may be available for undergraduate, postgraduate and Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses.

General and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) Studies Assistance Grants

for Allied Health Professionals, Medical (Doctors & Dentists), Administrative, Physical, Technical Staff and Aboriginal Health Workers

The 2009 General and ATSI Studies Assistance Grants closed on the 27 February 2009.

The Studies Assistance program is currently being reviewed in its entirety and may be in a different format for 2010.
