The Gove District Hospital is a 32 bed facility which provides the following:
- 24 hour accident & emergency care, helicopter pad facility is available
- General surgical, medical and paediatric care
- 2 Respite beds
- Elective and emergency surgery
- Maternity services are available including caesarian capability
- Pharmacy
- Visiting specialist care
- 24 hr medical imaging - on call service after hours
- Pathology - on call service after hours
- Stores
- Mortuary- post mortems are not performed here at this time
- Cyclone shelter - the stores building is the town designated cyclone shelter

- Aerial Medical Services who provide retrieval service from remote communities & evacuation services to RDH.
