BreastScreenNT bus

Breast cancer is the most common cancer affecting Australian women.

Early detection of breast cancer can increase survival rates of women across the Northern Territory (NT).

The BreastScreenNT truck 'Millie' provides screening mammograms to over 1,000 women every year in up to 20 remote communities across the NT.

You should book before you go.

To book an appointment, call 13 20 50. For a group booking, contact Health Promotion on 08 8922 6448.

Who should be screened

All women aged 50 to 74 years are encouraged to have a free breast screen every 2 years.

Women aged between 40 and 49, or 75 and older should talk to their GP about whether they should have a free screening mammogram.
